About the team

We are looking for a highly organized and detailed oriented tech-savvy Business Development Account Representative to join our community. In this role, efficiency, scalability is the mindset. We’re looking for someone who will optimize the sales team and bring high volume to this role.

What you will do:

As a Business Development Representative at Virtually Handy your day-to-day will include:

Start your day with purpose. You’ll begin by reviewing your leads, following up on yesterday’s conversations, and planning your outbound call and email strategy for the day.

Connect and engage. Expect to spend a good portion of your day reaching out to Law Offices—introducing them to innovative company’s solutions, uncovering needs, and identifying new opportunities.

Get out in the field. You’ll schedule and attend in-person or virtual meetings with Managing Attorneys, Tech Administrators and Chief Legal Officers.

When needed, you’ll visit client sites to intake the office needs, and partner with office personnel to ensure every proposal is accurate and inspiring.

Represent and network. At times, your workday might be spent setting up a Regional/National webinar—engaging with attendees, demonstrating solutions, and helping grow our brand presence in the legal operations markets.

End with impact. You’ll wrap up your day by logging activity in the CRM, coordinating with internal teams on next steps for active opportunities, and celebrating wins—both big and small—on your journey toward meeting and exceeding your goals.

Job Requirements

Education & Experience: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.

Sales Drive: Prior experience with outbound prospecting or cold calling is highly preferred—you’re energized by connecting with new people and uncovering opportunities.

Physical Readiness: Able to participate in webinars, and demonstrations of our services including setup and breakdown, and occasionally assist with on-site installations or sample systems.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities; comfortable presenting to educators, administrators, and library professionals.

Self-Starter Mentality: Highly motivated, competitive, and goal-oriented with a passion for achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Collaboration: Team player who thrives in a supportive environment and works well across departments to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Adaptability: Excited to learn, grow, and navigate a fast-paced, evolving sales environment.
