About the team

We are looking for a highly organized and detailed oriented tech-savvy Legal Operations Specialist to join our community. In this role, efficiency, scalability is the mindset. We’re looking for someone who will optimize processes, manage technology and bring empathy and understanding to this role.

What you will do:

  • Build Strategies that Optimize and are Sustainable by creating, implementing, and maintaining efficient legal workflows and processes, including the management of legal departments processes and procedures.  Implementing a system to streamline client intake to onboarding.  
  • Work closely with management partner/and or legal directors with review of contracts, approve processes, ensuring efficiency and adherence to internal policies.
  • Financial and Vendor Management
  • Budgeting and Metrics: Manage the legal department’s annual budget, including detailed spending and tracking, financial  forecasting, and the preparation of a month metrics tracker and departmental reports.
  • Technology & Data Management
  • Knowledgeable of Practice Management and Case Management Systems. Evaluate, implement, and manage legal tech tools such as Contact Lifecycle Management (CLM) and other document management systems.
  • Project Leadership & Compliance 
  • Lead and manage critical projects involving Legal and Compliance of the firm and internal teams
  • Manage complex transitions from one system to another. Compliance and Client Management Support: Provide outstanding customer service to external internal clients. Assist with compliance audits and assist with other departments as needed.

Who you are

  • Trainable
  • Strong analytical, financial, metrics skills.
  • Experience working in Legal is a plus however is not required
  • Excellent communication and project management skills with a proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams.
